                  Hello, I'd like to reserve a standard room.

服 务 员：您要订哪天的？
                  Nín yào dìng nă tiān de?
                  When do you want the reservation for?

丽 贝 卡：从本月15号到23号。
                  Cóng bĕn yuè 15 hào dào 23 hào.
                   From the 15th to the 23rd of this month.

服 务 员：对不起，15号的标准间已经没有了。

Hotel Types in China
There are three types of hotels in China. They are fandian (jiudian, binguan), luguan and zhaodaisuo. Fandian, jiudian and binguan are high quality hotels with better facilities and services. The quality of the facilities and services of such hotels will determine whether they are stat rated hotels or non star rated hotels. Luguan is medium priced hotels providing accommodations for the general public at reasonable rates. Zhaodaisuo are usually run by big enterprises, local governments, and universities to provide accommodations for their own guests and their visiting staff from other regions. Gradually, zhaodaisuo have begun to function as binguan and provide limited service to the general public. By 2008, there will be up to 800 stat rated hotels and over 1000 non stat rated hotels to provide service to people coming to the Olympic Games in
