打扰(dărăo) is a verb and used broadly in China.
It can be used as to show politeness when you need others’help and this term means “I am sorry to bother you” and “Excuse me.”
Duìbuqĭ dărăo yí xià, qĭng wèn chēzhàn zěnme zŏu?
对不起 打扰 一 下，请 问 车站 怎么 走？
I’m sorry to bother you, but could you tell me the way to the station?
It can be used as a transitive verb with the meaning of “disturb.”
